Lucas Parsons has nearly a decade of experience in government relations, with a particular focus on policy analysis and its impact on the construction and development industries. He represents a wide variety of clients before state and local governments and helps clients in all industries navigate the legislative process.
Lucas has experience in all aspects of the legislative process, including lobbying, bill drafting, policy and agency rule monitoring, and legislative committee operations. As a former legislative analyst, Lucas developed key relationships with policymakers and stakeholders, analyzed and drafted legislation, and advised on policy matters and regulatory issues. His extensive experience working with industry and business professionals bolsters his understanding of large and small businesses, their concerns, and their interests — as well as the legislative and regulatory environments in which they must navigate — allowing him to advocate effectively on their behalf.
Lucas previously served as a senior attorney for the Florida Senate Committee on Fiscal Policy, where he tracked legislation covering a myriad of issues. He also served under the Select Committee on Resiliency, working to find solutions to fortify the state against future hurricanes.
