Overview

David McConnell is a litigator who focuses his practice on property and casualty insurance, encompassing a variety of federal and state law issues. His experience includes representing insurers in complex coverage disputes, formulating initial coverage decisions, and analyzing claim files and relevant policies.

David assists in all phases of litigation, from pleadings to post-judgment, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, and arguing and defending against motions in court.

David also represents clients in complex commercial matters. He represents a diverse range of clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes, default/foreclosure proceedings, antitrust, fraud, and TCPA/FTSA cases.

David received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where he served as president of the moot court board and senior member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and as a Dean's Fellow in the Fundamentals of Lawyering Program, where he assisted first-year students in developing legal research and writing skills. He also worked at the public defender’s office and district attorney’s office, and served as an intern to the Honorable Ben W. Hooper III of the Fourth Circuit Court in Tennessee.
