Overview

Richard Anderson focuses his practice on construction litigation, including construction defect claims, contractual and commercial disputes, and all aspects of construction liens from perfection through prosecution. Additionally, he has extensive experience in property insurance defense, general liability matters, employment and labor litigation, and complex commercial disputes between sophisticated entities.

Growing up in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida, Richard was raised in the construction industry, with his father and uncle operating numerous construction firms. In addition, Richard spent more than half a decade gaining firsthand experience in the construction, plumbing, and oil and gas industries, including installing shingle roofing systems and hurricane impact windows in Florida, and later in the Bakken shale region encompassing eastern Montana and western North Dakota, assuming a variety of roles in the oil and gas industry. To that end, he leverages this experience and insight to garner extensive insider knowledge as it relates to the valuation and defense of claims.
