Carlton Fields’ Yolanda P. Strader Receives Diversity and Inclusion Award
Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Miami Shareholder Yolanda P. Strader is a recipient of the Daily Business Review’s 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Award. Strader was selected in recognition of her continued commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the firm and her community. She will be honored at an award ceremony on May 19.
Strader is active in the South Florida legal community. She is a past president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association, formerly known as the Black Lawyers of Miami. As president of the Ferguson Bar, she spearheaded a number of initiatives to enhance diversity in the legal profession and to help deserving students in Miami.
At Carlton Fields, Strader is a business litigation lawyer with a business background. She represents franchisors and franchisees in a variety of franchise disputes and handles a range of creditors’ rights litigation arising in state and bankruptcy courts. Strader’s practice also includes a variety of commercial litigation matters.
