Carlton Fields’ Yolanda P. Strader Recognized as 2021 Woman of Impact

Miami, Fla. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Miami Shareholder Yolanda P. Strader is a recipient of the 2021 Woman of Impact Award from the Women’s History Coalition of Miami-Dade County. She was recognized at a virtual award ceremony on Sunday, March 28.

The Women of Impact Award is given to dynamic women in Miami-Dade County who have exemplified a commitment to making a change. Strader was selected for her commitment to helping women and children.

Strader is active in the South Florida legal community. She is a past president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association, formerly known as the Black Lawyers of Miami. As president of the Ferguson Bar, she spearheaded a number of initiatives to enhance diversity in the legal profession and to help deserving students in Miami.

She represents franchisors and franchisees in a variety of franchise disputes and handles a range of creditors’ rights litigation arising in state and bankruptcy courts.
