Carlton Fields Recognized as Top Law Firm in 2021 BTI Client Service A-Team Report

Carlton Fields is recognized as a top law firm in the 20th Annual BTI Client Service A-Team report, a designation limited to law firms that deliver unparalleled client service. This is the only legal ranking that identifies leading law firms for client service though a national survey of corporate counsel. The firm has been included in this report for more than a decade.

The firm is recognized as one of the Top 5 law firms showing the most improvement in client service in the last year. Overall, corporate counsel ranked Carlton Fields in the top 6% for its prowess in 11 out of 17 activities driving superior client relationships. The client service activities include:

  • Client Service Wild Cards
    • Mobilizing Resources, Fielding the Absolute Best Team, and Quickly Assessing the Client’s Situation
  • Relationship Bliss
    • Commitment to Help, Client Focus, Provides Value for the Dollar
  • Price Admission
    • Meets Core Scope and Handles Problems
  • Best Supporting Activities
    • Advises on Business Issues and Unprompted Communication
  • New Business Magnets
    • Anticipates Client’s Needs

According to BTI’s research, 650 core law firms serve large and Fortune 1000 clients. However, only 282 law firms, in total, are singled out — by name — by legal decision makers for their prowess.

For the 2021 survey, BTI conducted in-depth interviews with 350 corporate counsel at the world’s largest companies. No law firms influence the results, submit nominations, or provide client names. Law360 published an article about this report.
