Carlton Fields’ Steven Blickensderfer Appointed Chair of Statewide Computer & Technology Law Committee

Miami, Fla. – Carlton Fields attorney Steven Blickensderfer was appointed chair of The Florida Bar Business Law Section’s Computer & Technology Law Committee. The committee’s mission is to educate Florida business lawyers about substantive computer and technology law issues, such as those related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, data privacy, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
 
Blickensderfer is a technology lawyer with complex commercial litigation experience. He handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters in federal and state court for clients across a number of industries. Blickensderfer is particularly passionate about helping clients with data privacy and cybersecurity matters, and he also co-leads Carlton Fields’ Esports and Electronic Gaming Practice. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of South Florida.
