Corporate Counsel Name Carlton Fields a Leading Law Firm for Class Action Defense and Complex Commercial Litigation

Carlton Fields is "the best of the best" law firm in class action defense and complex commercial litigation, according to BTI Litigation Outlook 2020: Changes, Trends, and Opportunities for Law Firms. This is BTI's ninth annual survey on trends in the litigation market. It identifies top law firms to which corporate counsel will turn for their most pressing litigation needs in 2020.

BTI Litigation Outlook 2020 reports that the U.S. litigation market is poised for its third consecutive year of growth - for both spending and number of matters. In-house counsel expect to spend more and see more litigation as bet-the-company and high-risk matters are driving the growth. "More companies expect to have more high-risk matters - creating more new spending and clients needing outside counsel."

The report is based solely on in-depth telephone interviews with leading legal decision-makers. This comprehensive analysis covers data from more than 9,000 corporate counsel interviews conducted over a 20-year span.
