Katelyn M. Sandoval Joins Carlton Fields’ Securities and Derivative Litigation Practice in New York
New York, N.Y. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Katelyn M. Sandoval has joined its New York office as an associate. She is a member of the firm’s Securities and Derivative Litigation Practice.
Sandoval continues the expansion of the firm’s nationally recognized litigation team, which includes more than 150 attorneys in 11 offices. Within the past three months, the firm has hired 12 litigators. Corporate counsel named Carlton Fields a “best of the best” law firm in complex commercial litigation in the recently released BTI Litigation Outlook 2020: Changes, Trends, and Opportunities for Law Firms.
Sandoval represents companies, boards, and individuals in securities fraud litigation, internal and government investigations, and related disclosure and corporate governance matters. Her experience includes handling matters involving provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings.
Prior to joining the firm, Sandoval served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven P. Logan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her two bachelor’s degrees in Justice Studies and Sociology, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University.
