Carlton Fields’ Robert Simpson Wins Connecticut Law Tribune Distinguished Leaders Award

Hartford, Conn. — Carlton Fields is pleased to announce Hartford Shareholder Robert Simpson will be the recipient of a Connecticut Law Tribune 2019 Distinguished Leaders Award. Simpson was selected for his impressive track record of litigation wins and his leadership skills.

The publication's editorial board noted Simpson was among the most impressive lawyers recently featured in the Tribune's coverage when he joined Carlton Fields.

Simpson is an experienced trial lawyer whose clients include many global pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He has served in leadership roles for the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association, among other organizations. In addition, Simpson is deeply devoted to the Hartford community and volunteers his time to mentor local youth. Since joining the firm earlier this year, Simpson and a team of lawyers, consultants, and professional staff have made many valuable contributions to the Mass Tort and Product Liability practice and to Carlton Fields’ Hartford office.

Simpson will be recognized at a May 16 ceremony in Hartford.
