Carlton Fields Joins Building for Good to Provide Pro Bono Construction Law Services

Carlton Fields' Construction practice joined Building for Good, a newly launched, first-of-its-kind national platform linking skilled construction lawyers with nonprofits and charities in need of pro bono legal services. Carlton Fields is one of the first firms to offer services through Building for Good, which was founded by members of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law.

Imagine local food pantries or homeless shelters that need a new roof, the expansion of nonprofit schools, facilities serving low-income students, or citizens with special needs. These organizations need the unique skills of construction lawyers, but they don't always have access or funds to hire them. The lawyers involved in Building for Good provide these services on a pro bono basis to these organizations. Building for Good will pilot in four states: Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New Jersey.
