Carlton Fields cybersecurity Shareholder Christina Gagnier was quoted in a Bloomberg Privacy & Data SecurityLaw article, “Massive Ransomware Hits Likely to Hasten Cloud Security Shift,” about the increase in companies’ cloud security technology after notable, recent ransomware attacks.

“It’s expensive to invest in good security, and there may be policy or procedure changes that accompany it,” said Gagnier. “But ransomware attacks can result in loss of sale and reputational costs—and one option’s definitely cheaper than the other.”
