Carlton Fields’ Lori Baggett Delivers Stetson Law Commencement Address
Carlton Fields Tampa Office Managing Shareholder Lori Baggett delivered the Stetson Law commencement address at a December 5 ceremony.
Baggett offered the outgoing graduates three charges: approach careers and life with deliberate intent, take authentic action that lives up to aspirations, and share success by giving back to the community.
Baggett was also conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree for her award-winning legal work, leadership in the community, and ongoing dedication to Stetson Law.
As an alumna, Baggett is involved in several Stetson Law activities. She is serving a second term as a member of the university’s Law Alumni Association Board of Advisors. She also established the Baggett Family Scholarship, which supports African American students who exhibit exemplary academic and personal leadership and have demonstrated financial need. Baggett was recently recognized as the recipient of the Stetson Lawyers Alumni Association Outstanding Alumni Representative Award.
