Josephine Cicchetti, co-chair of Carlton Fields’ Privacy and Cybersecurity task force, authored the article “Fighting Fraud with Biometrics in the Life Insurance Industry,” which was published in The Practical Lawyer. While technological tools that can recognize users’ fingerprints, voices, and faces are helpful for identity authentication, the collection of such data creates privacy and security concerns, Cicchetti wrote.
