Carlton Fields’ Andrew (Drew) Hinkes Featured in Media Coverage of Kik ICO Dispute

Carlton Fields blockchain attorney Andrew (Drew) Hinkes was interviewed by multiple cryptocurrency industry publications about the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s lawsuit against the messenger app maker Kik. The SEC claims Kik’s $100 million initial coin offering (ICO) violated federal securities law.

“This is the first opportunity for a well-heeled defendant with sophisticated counsel to test the SEC’s positions in front of a sophisticated judge,” Hinkes told Decrypt.

Hinkes’ commentary was also featured in Coindesk and The Block, and he was interviewed on camera by Cheddar.
