A CCPA Class Action Is Coming and Preparedness Is The Best Way to Avoid It

The Carlton Fields 2019 Class Action Survey was cited in a Corporate Counsel article about an anticipated swell of class actions stemming from the California Consumer Privacy Act, which goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2020. The percentage of companies predicting data breaches as the next wave of class actions nearly doubled from last year’s survey, increasing from 28.9% to 54.3%.
