Cybersecurity Fight Gets More Unified With Executive Order

Carlton Fields’ Privacy and Cybersecurity Task Force Co-Chair Joseph W. Swanson was quoted in the Law360 article, “Cybersecurity Fight Gets More Unified With Executive Order.” President Trump signed an executive order that directs federal agencies to assess their cybersecurity risks and share information about threats to better safeguard federal networks and infrastructure.

“While this executive order by its terms is largely limited to the federal government and critical infrastructure, it's one additional reminder that cybersecurity is a very important issue and that organizations need to devote significant resources to it,” said Swanson.
