Overview

Chad Steen focuses his practice on health care litigation, defending hospitals, doctors, and other health care professionals against claims involving medical negligence, premises liability, and general liability. Licensed to practice across Florida, he has consistently secured favorable outcomes for some of the state’s top hospitals and health care providers. Through his thorough legal analysis, strategic case management, and skillful navigation of complex legal challenges, he has gained a reputation as a trusted advocate.

During his legal training, Chad gained insight into legal argumentation and judicial decision-making by serving as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephanie W. Ray of the First District Court of Appeal and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Darren D. Farfante and the Honorable Virginia B. Norton. He also distinguished himself as a legal scholar by serving on the editorial board of the Florida State University Business Review, the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, and the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. He leverages these experiences when crafting incisive arguments on behalf of his clients.

Before entering legal practice, Chad acquired experience in the health care industry through working in cross-disciplinary clinical research teams at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. This background, combined with his legal acumen, enables him to effectively navigate complex health care litigation and provide exceptional legal representation.
